A drawing is simply a line going for a walk.
Paul Klee

I am a point that has gone for a run.
Constant rhythmic motion.
Shapes and thoughts pass by in a continuous blur.
The sweat dripping from my skin.
Legs carrying me step after step in the all-so-familiar motion
that has become as necessary as breathing.

This is the ground of the relationship running has created with the world around me. It has allowed me to notice the unnoticeable; to take in, process and respond to the external stimuli constantly absorbed by my mind through my body. Kick-started by this sensory information my hand intuitively begins the process of creating marks, one mark leading to another, each line responding to its predecessor, one layer depending on the next, reflecting the layered experience of my daily run.
